Cambridge Labour's Executive Councillors

Councillor Lewis Herbert,  Leader and Executive Councillor for Strategy and Transformation

Cllr Kevin Price - Deputy Leader and Executive Cllr for Housing
Kevin has lived in Cambridge all his life, went to local schools and mostly worked in the City too, and also served as a Councillor in the 1990s.

‘Since returning to the City Council, I have wanted to improve the housing situation and also the environment on our estates for our residents, and am looking forward to getting started.

One of my first practical changes is to increase the budget for fencing around our estates to tackle the backlog of damage and repairs needed.’

Cllr Rosy Moore - Executive Cllr for Environmental Services and the City Centre

Cllr Richard Johnson - Executive Cllr for Community, Arts & Recreation
Richard lives on Newmarket Road, in Abbey. He has lived in Cambridge for over ten years, having first come to the city to study History at Downing College where he graduated in 2007. Since then he has worked at the University Library and for Daniel Zeichner MP. He was elected as Abbey City Councillor in 2012.

Cllr Anna Smith - Executive Cllr for Streets and Open Spaces

Cllr Kevin Blencowe, Executive Cllr for Planning Policy and Transport (Petersfield)
Kevin has been a Cambridge resident for over 30 years, since arriving in 1982 to study.  He has lived and worked in the city ever since, including over 20 years serving as a Petersfield city councillor.

He has been Labour’s lead councillor on planning for over a decade, and has a practical ‘can-do’ approach and a keen sense of fairness, particularly when it comes to planning decisions and policy.

‘I am committed to working in the interest of everyone in the city, and to devoting considerable time, energy and enthusiasm; not forgetting a dose of common sense.’
